ACT Playbook ("we", "us", or "our") operates https://www.actplaybook.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information when you use the Service.

Information We Collect

• Account information: name and email address.
• Value Architecture & Sales Motion Assessents and Private Beta requests: first name, last name, company, email address, LinkedIn profile URL, and email-verification records. If you choose optional product updates, we also record the wording shown to you and when you confirmed that choice.
• Authentication data: we use Clerk to authenticate users.
• Audit logs: records of account activity (e.g., sign-ins, settings changes, and security events).

How We Use Information

• To provide and operate the Service.
• To authenticate users and manage access.
• To send onboarding and product-related emails.
• To verify Value Architecture and Sales Motion assessments as well as Private Beta requests, review access, manage the waitlist, and maintain customer relationship records. Clerk and HubSpot receive Private Beta information only after email verification.
• To send optional product updates when you select the checkbox and confirm your email. You can unsubscribe through an email link or by contacting info@actplaybook.com. Declining updates does not affect a Private Beta request.
• To maintain security and compliance through audit logging.

Legal Basis (GDPR)

• Contractual necessity: to provide the Service you request.
• Legitimate interests: to secure the Service and maintain audit logs.
• Consent: for any optional communications where required by law (you can withdraw consent at any time).
• Steps at your request and legitimate interests: to verify a Value Architecture and Sales Motion Assessment as well as Private Beta request, manage access, prevent misuse, and maintain CRM records.

How We Share Information

We do not sell or share your personal information. We share limited data only with service providers that help us operate the Service:

• Vercel (hosting)
• Supabase (database)
• Clerk (authentication)
• Brevo (email verification and delivery)
• Cloudflare (Turnstile bot protection). Cloudflare receives verification data and a transient IP address, not the profile fields in the Private Beta form.
• HubSpot (customer relationship management)

Cookies and Tracking

We use Vercel Analytics on public pages.

Data Retention

We retain account data and audit logs for as long as your account is active, and as needed to meet legal, security, or operational requirements. You can request deletion at any time.

Your Rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@actplaybook.com.

International Transfers

Our service providers may process data outside of Germany. We use reputable providers that implement appropriate safeguards.
